Director of Programs

Chaznae Walker – A graduate of Whittier College, Chaznae majored in Political Science and was a collegiate athlete in basketball. Chaznae has been a Program Coordinator with IHADLA for 15 years. Over the course of her tenure, she has planned and implemented after-school and summer programming, increased parent engagement, strengthened community partnerships, and overseen case management of three classes of Dreamers Scholars. Her students have a 98% high school graduation rate.

Chaznae previously served as Program Coordinator for our elementary school students at Frank D. Parent Elementary School in Inglewood. Like her Dreamer Scholars, Chaznae grew up and currently resides in Inglewood with her husband Raymond and their two daughters, Skylar and Madisyn. Her personal history with the city allows her to connect with our students and inspire them to overcome obstacles. She works diligently to ensure that our students have the support they need in accomplishing their goals. Chaznae’s long history working with IHADLA, and her deep understanding of the array of challenges our students face, make her the perfect person to now lead in an administrative role.
