2018 “I Have A Dream” Foundation – Los Angeles Dreamer Dinner Gala

The 2018 “I Have A Dream” Foundation – Los Angeles Dreamer Dinner took place on March 18 at the Skirball Cultural Center.  The annual gala honored those who inspire hopes and dreams for Los Angeles at-risk youth and their families, showcasing the wonderful work being done by IHADLA to break the cycle of poverty through education, empowerment, and opportunity.  Emceed by actor and comedian, Melissa Peterman, attendees heard from IHADLA Dreamers from our programs in Inglewood, Watts, and Boyle Heights–warming the hearts and inspiring everyone present.

This year IHADLA was proud to honor the following:

  • Thom Sherman – Sr. EVP, Programming, CBS Entertainment
  • Regina King – Emmy-Winning Actress/Director/Producer
  • Father Greg, Richard Cabral, and Jose Arellano – Homeboy Industries
