Our Program 17 Dreamer Scholars in Ánimo Inglewood Charter High School turned MLK day into a Day of Service! Our dreamer scholars reorganized, redecorated, and sanitized the College and Career room. They took full control and divided responsibilities amongst themselves while supporting and helping each other.
Within four groups of four members each, the dreamer scholars created a beautiful college space in their school!
We also had our Program 18 Dreamer Scholars at Edison Middle School using their MLK Day to beautify the campus by picking up trash, raking leaves, and cleaning the fields.
They also had the opportunity to write letters to congress to express the needs in support for DACA students as well as their opinions of ways to better help this country with the time we are in now.
They’ve defined what teamwork means by taking initiative and working together.
Thank you to all of our Dreamer Scholars for participating in this Day of Service! Please see our gallery bellow for all the photos from the day .
