EILEEN POWERS | Vice Chair
Eileen Powers is a retired educator, having served 45 years at Campbell Hall in Studio City as an administrator and teacher. Her work was devoted to bridging educational, financial and cultural divides through community engagement and enrollment management. As Director of Financial Aid and Director of Public Partnerships, she set up programs to connect public and private schools, and one of those partnerships was with the I Have a Dream Foundation-LA, which led to her current role on the IHad Board. Before joining the faculty at Campbell Hall, she worked for LAUSD as an Adult Education Instructor specializing in ESL and Spanish curriculum. Eileen graduated from the University of California Los Angeles with a B.A. in Spanish before obtaining her M.A. in Sociology/Social Psychology from California State University Los Angeles. She serves on the Board’s Program Committee.
