Keeping the dream alive
Our Executive Director traveled to New York City to celebrate Dreamer Scholar alum Antonio Banuelos Figueroa, who was honored with the Spirit of the Dream Award at the National “I Have A Dream” Foundation Gala.
As a graduate of Program 15, Antonio’s journey reflects the lasting impact of the our work. In his acceptance remarks, he shared how IHADLA provided not only academic support, but also confidence, opportunity, and a lifelong sense of community!
The evening was made even more special with Antonio’s family in attendance, along with supporters from across the country. We were especially proud to see him introduced by fellow Dreamer Scholar alumni of the "I Have A Dream" Foundation.
